Small shrines in MOSAIC homes.

Because of the amount of neo religions most churches aren't found in a present building as much as they're found in each other, in individuals, in people. Those who had buildings or homes once still carry a part of it with them, old church tiles become wall shrines and charms kept on their person.

If you take the time to look around MOSAIC
Tilework is integral now. These salvaged pieces of old homes, rich stories and lost images are pressed into our clay floors, walls, and pews, any surface willing to receive us. What's more forgiving, more malleable, than clay. We try to keep archives of art and their stories. Every object, every chimera, every image, everything comes from somewhere. Isn't it fascinating how much you learn when you ask, how could we not be part of this world when we're written all over it.
